A hunter was killed in an accidental shooting fired from the gun of another hunter in Juva, a municipality under South Savo region on Saturday, police said.
The incident took place at about noon when two elderly men, both of them about 75 years old, went for hunting and one of them leaned his gun against a vehicle.
At certain stage, the gun fell down and a gunshot was fired as a result the other hunter sustained bullet wounds and died on the spot.
Police, however, did not divulge the detail identity of the deceased.
Police filed a murder case in connection with the incident.
