A student at a school in Espoo tried to hit a teacher on Friday, said police in a press release.
The incident took place in the morning when the student threw objects at the teacher attempting to hit the teacher.
The student was behaving aggressively, which prompted the school authority to call police.
Responding to the alarm, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
The teacher, however, was not injured and the academic and administrative activities of the school were not disrupted in the incident.
Police did not disclose the name of the school and the identities of the student and the teacher.
