Kultaranta to remain open for visitors on Sept 8

Kultaranta, the summer residence of the President of Finland in Naantali, will be open to the people on 8 September 2025, said the President Office in a press release on Monday.

The residence will remain open from 12 noon to 18.00 and visitors will be able to access the grounds until 17.00.

The tour will begin with a visit to the formal garden, continuing up to the Granite Castle, the main building at Kultaranta, where visitors will have access to the reception rooms on the ground floor.

Inside the Granite Castle, visitors will have the opportunity to see the President's office and explore the Lower Hall, the Star Cabinet, the Blue Veranda, and the Dining Room.

The tour then returns to the Kultaranta gate via the western side of the formal garden, known as the Chain.

Kultaranta is located at Kordelininkatu 1, Naantali.

As there is no luggage storage at Kultaranta and visitors must carry their belongings with them during the tour.

Large bags or backpacks will not be allowed and strollers and prams are not permitted into the Granite Castle.

The tour is not completely accessible, but wheelchairs can move around easily in the garden area. Photography for personal use is permitted.
