The Ministry of the Interior has launched a survey to better understand the situation of Ukrainian refugees in Finland, said the ministry in a press release on Thursday.
The survey focuses on their employment opportunities, future prospects and return plans.
The information will help both the authorities and Ukrainians to prepare for the next steps.
Finland wants to be ready for the time when the situation in Ukraine becomes more stable, the temporary protection comes to an end, and people may plan to return to Ukraine.
By answering the survey, Ukrainians can help ensure they receive the right kind of support from Finnish authorities, no matter what their plans are.
The survey is open until 8 August. It is anonymous, and individual respondents cannot be identified. The results will be used to draw up public reports.
The Ministry has already published two reports on the situation of Ukrainians receiving temporary protection in Finland.
The first one, in autumn 2022, looked at the situation and service needs of those who had just arrived.
The second, in spring 2024, focused on Ukrainians moving from reception centres to municipalities.
