Two 15-year-old girls were killed after falling from the roof of a building at Jätkäsaari area in Helsinki late Saturday night, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place at about 9:00 p.m. at the six-storey Saukonlaituri parking hall on Karibiankatu road at the locality.
Responding to an alarm, rescue service people and police rushed to the spot and found that both the girls succumbed to their wounds on the spot.
Police, however, did not divulge the detail identities of the deceased.
Many people witnessed the incident and police interrogated some of them to get more information in this regard.
Police did not disclose the reason behind the incident but after the preliminary investigation they did not suspect link to any criminal activity.
Police are investigating into the case to find out the reason behind the deaths.
