Finland censures recent Russian attacks on Ukraine

Finland on Tuesday condemned the Russian attacks on Ukraine during the recent period, according to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

“Russia’s recent attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure are inhumane and in clear violation of international law,” the Ministry wrote in a post on its social media platform X.

It also said that the suffering of innocent people can never be justified.

“Ukraine is not alone. Finland stands with Ukraine – now and in the future,” the Ministry added.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen on Tuesday reiterated the demand for an unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine.

“It’s been 113 days – Ukraine and the world have waited for Russia to agree to a ceasefire. What has been Russia’s response? More bombs. Bombs on schools, hospitals and homes. Total disgrace. Russia brings terror, no solutions. We need a full and unconditional ceasefire now,” Valtonen wrote in a post on her social media platform X.
