Estonian national suspected of Espoo youth murder

The police are looking for an Estonian national for his alleged involvement in the murder of youth, which took place on December 5 in Espoo, police said on Friday.

Members of the law enforcing agency already arrested several people in connection with the murder.

After the preliminary investigation, police suspected an Estonian citizen named Dijar Güzel of the murder and are trying to arrest him.

Police also disclosed the photo of Güzel, who is about 180 centimetres tall and slim sensing that the suspect might try to leave Finland.

Police also requested people to inform them, if the suspect is spotted anywhere by making phone call or sending email.

The murder took place on early night of December 5 on Kirstinmäki road at Suvela area when the miscreants attacked the victim of under 20 years old with firearms.

Police initially suspected involvement of criminal street gangs in the attack and investigating into the incident as murder by suspected street gangs and criminal networks.

The case is being handled by the street gang investigating unit of Helsinki Metropolitan Police.
