One person was killed in a fire at a semi-detached wooden house in Pori, a city on the west coast of Finland on Sunday morning, police said in a press release.
The fire broke out at about 10:30 am and engulfed the house at Itälinjankatu area in the locality.
Rescue service personnel and police rushed to the spot responding to a call from a passerby and found a person dead inside the badly damaged house.
They recovered the body of deceased from there.
Police, however, did not disclose the identity of the victim.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately but Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the fire.
