President Alexander Stubb on Thursday had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said the President Office in a press release.
The Presidents discussed Finland’s support for Ukraine and steps to find a sustainable and just conclusion to Russia’s war of aggression.
Stubb made the phone call following participating remotely in a high-level meeting on Ukraine and European security hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday.
Stubb and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo attended the meeting through videoconference.
After the meeting, Stubb said at a press conference that a consensus was reached on what Europe should do.
