An employee was killed in an accident while working at the shipyard of Rauma Marine Construction in Satakunta region on Monday afternoon, police and the Shipyard company said.
The accident took place at about 12:30p.m. when the on-duty worker fell on the ground from a height.
The worker died on the spot immediately after the incident.
Responding to an alarm, police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and found the worker dead.
Police, however, did not divulge details about the identity of the deceased and the accident.
The police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind it.
