One person was killed after falling from the balcony of a building in Helsinki City centre area on Wednesday evening, police said.
The accident took place at about 6:00 p.m. when a part of the railing of the balcony was broken and the person fell down from the balcony of the building at Hietalahdenkatu area.
The person died on the spot.
Police, however, did not disclose details about the incident and the identity of the deceased.
They are investigating into the case to find out the reasons behind the death.
Earlier in May 2025, another person was killed after falling from the balcony of a building in Vantaa.
